A Lazy Afternoon in Spring

Nothing can be compared than spending a lazy afternoon with some good friends.

This afternoon, I met some friends at an outdoor tea club. The day was very nice. Time became slower in this warm and nice spring afternoon.

In fact, we haven’t met for a long time. Friends are together in this stylish tea club. Chatting gossips. Watching the beautiful flowers. Tasting the new green tea. In this cozy afternoon, I completely be involved in the good time of spring.

This nice afternoon reminds me a poem:

The man who wants a garden fair,
Or small or very big,
With flowers growing here and there,
Must bend his back and dig.
The things are mighty few on earth,
That wishes can attain,
Whatever we want of any worth,
We’ve got to work to gain. It matters not what goal you seek,
Its secret here reposes:
You’ve got to dig from week to week,
To get results or roses.

One Day in Beihai Park

Bid away with the boring and long days’ gloom, Beijing finally goes to the most leisure period of its whole year. The spring has silently arrived.

Beihai park is not silent and lonely any more. When the day becomes warmer, the park becomes busy and crowd.

Joyful sounds can be heard anywhere in the park. Blue sky is reflecting on the surface of the lake. Little unnamed flowers are blossoming on the ground.

It is a good idea that sometimes we slow down our footsteps and kill our time in a nice afternoon.

The warm and soft wind breezes my hair. I sit on a stone chair in the park and find life is so beautiful.

Sing a Love Song to the Spring

Flower in the Crannied Wall

Flower in the crannied wall

I pluck you out of the crannies

I hold you here, root and all, in my hand

Little flower---but if I could understand

What you are, root and all, and all in all

I should know what God and man is.

-----by Alfred Tennyson

This is a beautiful short poem which written by Alfred Tennyson. I can’t help myself to flavor it over and over.

What a touching scene the poem describes! The little flower blossoms in the crannied wall. The indomitable vitality of the little flower really inspired me.

Bid away with the cold winter. Nature shows its power of life force to us in the spring.
