The Review on Le Hérisson: Never Too Late To Love (1)

To most people, hedgehog is not an ideal pet as it doesn’t like cat or dog which can please their owner. In fact, hedgehog is a strange but ultimately beautiful creature. 

Yesterday, I watched a film named Le hérisson. It is written by Muriel Barbery. Le hérisson means the elegance of the hedgehog.

The story happens in an upper class building. Through the camera of an 11 year old girl, she gave her insightful observations of her parents and neighbors. This movie is like a philosophy of life which inspired me a lot, especially about the attitude of love.

Among all the characters in the novel, Renee, a 54 year old resident janitor of the building, impressed me deeply.

The Night of Qingdao (2)

The night of Qingdao Island is colorful. When the nightfall slightly approches, the city is lighted up.

When the sun sets and the night falls, stalls light up the lamps and burns the charcoal — everything is prepared: tables and chairs are arranged outside by the street and draught beers are also ready.

I was slowly walking along the beach. The neo signs light up the city and make it colorful just like a wonderland.

All I need to do is stop and enjoy the beautiful night. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience and if it hurts,it's probably worth it.

The Night of Qingdao (1)

Happiness is not about being immortal nor having food or rights in one's hand. It’s about having each tiny wish come true, or having something to eat when you are hungry or having someone's love when you need love.

I love the summer night of Qingdao. Qingdao is a romantic seaside city. It is located on the south facing coast of the Shandong Peninsula. Qingdao has a temperate, four-season, monsoon-influenced climate. 

The night of Qingdao is so beautiful that makes a lot of tourists do want to leave. Summer in Qingdao is generally hot and humid, but very hot days are rare, with an August average of 25.3 °C. 

Dehang, Heaven on Earth (2)

I have lived in Dehang for 3 days. At first, there are a lot of inconveniences for me to live in the village. To city men, the life in this small village is too simple and hard.

However, three days have past, I find that I am getting used to this simple life style. No worriers about job, money and relationships. All I think is the beautiful scenery.

This morning, I get up very early. Walking along the rugged mountain trails, I step into another Miao village. Because of the rainy day, there are few tourists like me. I don’t like the big crowd. So I take this as a reward which god gives me. Thus I can fully enjoy my trip.

Dehang, Heaven on Earth (1)

“Dehang” is the dialect of Miao people, one of the 56 national minorities in China. “Dehang” means “the beautiful valley”. This beautiful valley has a balmy climate all year round.

Dehang is a amazing place, not only because of its ancient civilization, thick culture, but also because of its beautiful and pleasant scenery. It is true that Dehang is the paradise for tourists.

Dehang Village is an ancient town of Miao Nationality. It is adjacent to Fenghuang Ancient Town. People of Dehang maintain the traditional lifestyle of Miao. 

I really enjoy my trip at Dehang. The local people are very hospitality and kind. The mountains around Dehang are very high and dangerous. And the reward to me is the fantastic scenery. This place makes me feel like I’m in heaven.

A Fantastic Place Which I Don’t How to Describe

I didn’t mean to spend a time in Lugu Lake. I had planed to spend two or three days here. It turns out that I lived nearly a month in a small hotel near Lugu Lake.

To Mosuo people, Lugu Lake is their “Mother Lake”. It is surrounded by beautiful green mountains. In the whole year, there are 3 months the mountains are covered with snow. The average depth of the lake is 45meters and the deepest place reaches 93meters.

The life in Lugu lake is quite leisure. Noises of the city vanish in this paradise-like place. “This is most beautiful water ever. I can’t imagine any more fascinating view than this.” Rock once wrote in his journal, “this is the heaven on earth which God lives here.” 

The 50th Anniversary of Marilyn Monroe

This year is 50^th year since Monroe’s death. She captivated the world with her beauty, glamour, and unabashed sex appeal.

Marilyn Monroe died in 1962. The death of Monroe is still a hot topic these days. Many people, especially fans of Monroe, don’t believe she was suicide. Some one say that that a murder. All these suspects about Monroe are because she was had a relationship with Mr. President.

No one can forget the classic image of Monroe. In the film The Seven Year Itch, Monroe wore a white dress and a wind lifted her dress.

The body of Monroe is the symbol of sexy. She was the start of sex appeal in film. Since 1962 until now, 50 years have passed. But no one can replace Marilyn Monroe as the symbol.
